Following a team restructure, Veolia is seeking a Process Engineer to join its Ballarat operations, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

n

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants genuine ownership of their work. You will work across a broad range of operational and capital improvement projects, taking them from investigation and planning through to implementation and review.

n

You will analyse plant performance, troubleshoot process issues and look for better ways of working. Combining hands-on technical problem solving, project delivery and qualified reporting, the role will directly influence safety, compliance, efficiency and environmental outcomes.

What You'll be Responsible for

n

Monitor and analyse water and wastewater treatment performance

n

Troubleshoot process issues, complete root cause investigations and recommend practical solutions

n

Identify,



lead and deliver continuous improvement, asset upgrade and operational projects

n

Manage projects from scoping and planning through to implementation and handover

n

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual contract reports, technical recommendations and client correspondence

n

Support incident response, reporting, audits and quality management activities

n

Work closely with operations, clients, contractors and technical specialists

n

Participate in the operations on call roster

n

What You'll Need to be Successful

n

A degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline

n

Experience with wastewater treatment processes

n

Project management or project delivery experience

n

Strong technical report writing and professional communication skills

n

Ready to make a difference

This role is based in Ballarat and involves travel to Veolia sites across regional Victoria.
