Job Title: C# Developer
Location: Brooklyn NY
Duration: Full Time/Permanent
US Citizen's & GC's Only

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

- Work with middle and back office to determine necessary changes to their processes, get buy-in, develop test plans, and coordinate testing and tie-out.
- Face off with downstream systems to coordinate changed/new feeds.
- Develop the changes working with ASP.NET, Java, and Sybase
- Oversee work of other developers

Other Responsibilities include:

- Product development including requirements and analysis, technical design, programming, testing, performance tuning, technical documentation, and implementation of assigned projects. You will also be responsible for post-implementation maintenance and support.
- Analyzing complex data and workflow requirements.



Must be able to consolidate information from various business groups, analyze the problem or requirement(s), and recommend an appropriate solution.
- Designing and writing code: .Net, C#, SQL, ASP.NET, WF, WCF and Java
- Perform code walkthrough to ensure that solutions meet the quality standards and requirements.
- Supporting existing systems
- Designing and coordinating execution of test plans
- Training and supporting users.

Job Qualifications

- A minimum of 7 years skilled experience writing software using C#
- Experience running complex projects with many stakeholders
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and sub ledger systems
- Experience with full application development lifecycle (analysis, architecture, design, development, testing and deployment)
- Should be strong in .Net/C# as this is the strategic technology platform for the team – some experience with Java is also advantageous as some of the legacy code in the system is on this platform.
- Experience on any of the following Relational Databases: Sybase, SQLServer, Oracle
- Knowledge of major source control system and technology security
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency, while maintaining attention to detail

Qualifications

C# Developer, Oracle/Sql server/Sybase, Finance Domain experience
