Role Overview

n

This is a high-impact commercial finance role embedded within a large, complex operational environment, partnering closely with senior site leadership to drive performance, cost control and efficiency.

n

You will act as the key finance lead on site, providing real-time insight into performance, challenging assumptions and influencing decision-making across production, cost and operational drivers.

n

While responsible for core reporting, the role is focused on understanding what is driving performance at scale and improving outcomes, not just reporting results.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Partner with site leadership to drive cost performance, operational efficiency and financial outcomes
n
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting, including variance analysis across cost, yield and production metrics
n
- Analyse standard vs actual costs, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions
n
- Provide proactive insights on operational performance, including trends, risks and opportunities
n
- Support budgeting, forecasting and ongoing performance tracking at site level
n




- Work closely with operations to understand production drivers (capacity, throughput, cost inputs, etc.)
n
- Monitor inventory, cost movements and operational KPIs
n
- Support capital expenditure tracking, project performance and asset capitalisation
n
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting, processes and financial visibility
n
- Build strong relationships across operations, supply chain and finance to support decision-making
n

Key Requirements

n

n
- 4-8 years' experience in management accounting, commercial finance or operations finance
n
- Strong experience in cost analysis, variance analysis and performance reporting
n
- Demonstrated ability to partner with operational or non-finance stakeholders
n
- Strong Excel skills, with exposure to ERP systems (SAP highly regarded)
n
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, supply chain or industrial environments preferred
n
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards
