We are a leading Perth based ICT Consultancy Firm, who is currently looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Administrator for a long-term contract role.
This is a full time contract role, 12 months initially with the option of a further 12-month extension. You will be working with one of our key Government clients. This role offers flexible working hours, with scope to work from home 50% of the time.
Preference is for Perth based candidates only who can start within 1 to 3 weeks' notice.
In this role you will be part of a small specialist ServiceNow Team as a Senior ServiceNow Admin where your main duties will cover the following: Administer, support and maintain the Departments ServiceNow platform. Routine platform administration, user access, knowledge, requests, automation, data, CMDB, reporting and governance, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, data quality and reliable service delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
- User, Access & Knowledge Administration: Manage users, groups, roles, delegations and inactive accounts, and maintain knowledge bases, categories and articles while resolving access and search issues.
- Request, Catalogue & Approval Support: Troubleshoot Requests, RITMs, Tasks, Record Producers, Catalogue Items, assignments, approvals and related notifications without undertaking development changes.
- Flow, Automation & Email Troubleshooting: Investigate failed or stalled flows, scheduled processes, events, notifications and email processing using execution details, logs and system information.
- Data & CMDB Administration: Remediate duplicate, incomplete or inaccurate records; troubleshoot imports and reconciliation; maintain CIs, relationships,
Services and Service Offerings; and investigate Discovery and integration results, including Discovery ranges and groups.
- Incident, Request, Change & SLA Support: Maintain and troubleshoot Incident, Request and Change records and processes, including approvals, assignments and SLA behaviour.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Create and maintain reports and dashboards, troubleshoot unexpected results and scheduled distribution, and reconcile reported outcomes with underlying data.
- Platform Administration & Monitoring: Perform routine administration of system properties and scheduled jobs, use system and transaction logs to investigate issues, conduct instance housekeeping and escalate performance or availability concerns.
- Governance, Documentation & Upgrade Support: Apply platform standards and change controls, maintain support documentation, investigate root causes and recurring problems, manage housekeeping and assist with upgrade preparation, testing and post-upgrade checks.
Key skills and background:
- Advanced ServiceNow Admin experience in a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of user, group, role, delegation and access administration, with experience resolving permissions and record-access issues.
- Hands-on experience supporting ServiceNow Incident, Request, Catalogue, Knowledge, Change,
approvals, SLAs, notifications, flows and scheduled jobs.
- Experience with CMDB administration, CI relationships, Discovery, integrations, imports, reconciliation and data-quality remediation.
- Ability to analyse system, transaction, email and flow execution logs and identify the root cause of platform or process issues.
- Experience creating and maintaining ServiceNow reports, dashboards and scheduled report distribution.
- Sound understanding of platform governance, configuration housekeeping, change control, documentation and upgrade support.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with sound judgement about when to resolve, document or escalate an issue.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good team working ethics and happy to work in a collaborative environment.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience of Knowledge articles, rules and user access
- ServiceNow certifications a bonus
- Any previous government industry experience and highly regarded but not required

- Pay rate of $110 to $110 per hour (inclusive of super) - depending on experience
- Hybrid role - Flexible working hours with work from home options available 50% of the time. We may also consider fully remote working from home for the right candidate
