About the role

We're looking for a talented and experienced Senior Technician to join our dynamic team at TaylorEllis' in Newstead, Queensland. In this full-time position, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our architectural design and drafting processes, contributing to the successful delivery of innovative projects for our clients in Brisbane and Sydney.

What you'll be doing

- Produce high-quality architectural drawings and schematics using Revit
- Collaborate with architects and designers to interpret project requirements and translate them into detailed technical plans
- Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to address queries and resolve technical issues
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our drafting processes and standards
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge

What we're looking for

- 8+ years of experience as a Architectural Technician or Drafter, with a strong background in architectural design and drafting
- Proficient in using Revit, to produce detailed technical drawings
- Excellent understanding of building codes,



construction methods and relevant industry regulations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with architects, designers and other stakeholders
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
