About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, energetic and reliable Casual Shop Assistant to join our Wendy’s Milk Bar team.

This is a customer-focused role where you will help create a great experience for every customer while keeping the store clean, organised and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Take customer orders and operate the POS/cash register.
- Prepare and serve ice creams, milkshakes, drinks and other products.
- Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
- Maintain clean and tidy counters, equipment and customer areas.
- Restock products and packaging as required.
- Assist with food preparation and general shop duties.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
- Complete cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Assist with opening and closing the store.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and other team members.
- Provide effective and friendly service, particularly during busy periods.

- Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and school holidays where required.

Pay: $34.00 – $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
