Experienced Signage Installer – Full Time

Employment: Full Time

Salary: Up to $95,000 package including super, depending on experience

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Signage Installer to join our busy and growing signage team. This is a full time, hands on position working across a wide variety of commercial signage projects throughout Melbourne and occasional interstate travels. You will be involved in everything from building and shopfront signage through to illuminated signs, 3D lettering, window graphics, vinyl applications and vehicle signage.

We are looking for someone who has solid signage installation experience, takes pride in their workmanship and can confidently manage onsite installations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing internal and external commercial signage

- Installing ACP panels, fascia signs, acrylic signs, lightboxes, illuminated signage and 3D lettering
- Applying vinyl graphics, cut vinyl, window frosting and window graphics
- Installing banners, directional signage and other commercial signage
- Installing vehicle graphics where required
- Working with different substrates including concrete, brick, steel, aluminium, glass and plaster
- Selecting appropriate fixings and installation methods
- Reading artwork proofs, drawings and measurements
- Using power tools, ladders and access equipment safely
- Troubleshooting installation challenges onsite
- Communicating professionally with customers, builders and site supervisors
- Assisting with signage preparation and production in the workshop when required

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you will have:




- 2 to 3+ years of signage installation experience
- Experience installing commercial and building signage
- Experience with ACP, acrylic, aluminium, fabricated signage and dimensional lettering
- Good vinyl application skills
- Experience with illuminated signage and 3D lettering
- Strong measuring and problem solving skills
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Good knowledge of fixings and installation methods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Professional attitude when dealing with customers and contractors

Requirements

• Current Victorian driver's licence
- Construction White Card
- Working with Children check
- Ability to safely perform physical work including lifting and working from ladders

Working at Heights and EWP tickets would be highly regarded.

Vehicle wrapping or advanced vinyl application experience would also be an advantage.
