About the role

Are you an experienced Site Engineer looking for an exciting current challenge? State Asphalt Services Pty Ltd, a leading provider of civil and construction services, is seeking a talented Site Engineer to join our team in Prestons, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of our civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

What you'll be doing

- Liaising with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
- Interpreting design drawings, specifications, and engineering documents to identify and resolve potential issues
- Conducting site inspections and monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Preparing daily reports, progress updates, and other documentation to keep stakeholders informed of project status
- Providing technical support and guidance to construction teams, suggesting process improvements where necessary
- Collaborating with the design team to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges

What we're looking for

- Tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in the civil or construction industry
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality control processes




- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in using engineering software, such as AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations
