We're looking for a passionate Skills Coach to join our Kitchen & Catering team, supporting people with disability to build practical hospitality, kitchen and customer service skills in a real commercial environment.

This isn't a traditional support role.

You'll be part coach, part mentor, part trainer and part cheerleader. Every day you'll be helping people develop confidence, independence and employment skills while contributing to the delivery of quality food and hospitality services.

As a Skills Coach, you'll work alongside employees with disability in our kitchen and catering operations, helping turn work tasks into opportunities for learning, growth and achievement.

What you'll be doing

You'll work directly with people with disability in a busy kitchen and catering environment to:

- Coach and support people to learn hospitality, catering and workplace skills.




- Break down tasks into achievable steps and tailor approaches to individual needs.
- Use practical coaching techniques, visual supports, role modelling and hands-on training.
- Support people to build independence, confidence and workplace capability.
- Encourage positive workplace behaviours such as teamwork, communication and self-management.
- Track progress towards goals and document outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with a passionate team committed to inclusion and chance.

What we're looking for You don't need to have done this exact role before.

We're looking for people who are passionate about helping others learn and succeed.

We have various shifts available and we are looking for people with some flexibility.

You'll bring

✅ Experience in hospitality, catering, food production, customer service or a commercial kitchen environment.

✅ A genuine interest in coaching, mentoring or teaching practical skills.

✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.

✅ Patience, curiosity and a positive attitude.

✅ A commitment to inclusion and helping people achieve their goals.

Highly regarded

- Experience supporting people with disability.
- Experience supporting people with diverse learning needs.
- Experience in training, coaching or workplace learning.
- Understanding of hospitality operations, food safety and customer service.
