About the role

TC Electrical Group is seeking a Skilled Labourer to join our energetic team in Belmont NSW 2280. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse projects within the mechanical trade industry . As a Skilled Labourer, you will provide essential help to complete the project. Position is mechanical assistant

Key responsibilities

- Assisting skilled tradespeople on site with installation, maintenance and repair tasks
- Preparing work areas by clearing debris, organizing materials and ensuring sites are clean and safe
- Operating and maintaining hand tools and light power tools in accordance with safety guidelines
- Loading, unloading and transporting materials, equipment and supplies to and from job sites
- Following health and safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents immediately
- Supporting ductwork and PVC pipework installation
- Assisting with site maintenance and keeping work areas tidy and organized
- Communicating effectively with team members to ensure coordination and efficiency on site
- Following instructions from supervisors and adhering to project specifications and timelines

What we're looking for





- Proven experience as a laborer within the trades or construction industry
- A solid understanding of basic electrical safety practices and site safety protocols
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy items
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and light power tools
- A valid driver's license and access to reliable transport to reach job site
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
- A willingness to learn and develop skills under the guidance of experienced tradespeople
- White Card or equivalent construction induction training

- High standard of workmanship
