About Us The Social Twenty is a boutique social media management agency focused on creating engaging and strategic content for brands across a range of industries. We specialise in Instagram and TikTok helping businesses grow through creative on-brand content.

We’re looking for a motivated and creative Social Media Assistant to join our team in Lane Cove, Sydney.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves social media, content creation and creative strategy. We’re looking for a strategic thinker who can bring fresh ideas, contribute creatively, and help elevate our clients’ Instagram presence.

This role is office-based for 1-2 days per week (6 hours per day) with strong opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

- Assist with content creation for clients on Instagram and TikTok
- Create engaging graphics, reels, stories and social assets using Canva and CapCut
- Assist in planning and executing social media strategies
- Schedule and manage content calendars
- Brainstorm creative campaign ideas and content directions
- Stay up to date with social media trends and platform updates
- Assist during content shoots when required




- Collaborate closely with the team on client campaigns and creative execution

What We’re Looking For

- 1-2 years experience in social media or content creation is preferred
- Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok
- Strong video editing skills on CapCut and Edits
- Experience using Canva Pro is essential
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to think strategically and contribute ideas confidently
- Comfortable creating reels, stories, and engaging social content
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company

Experience

- Marketing, communications, media, or business-related university studies
- Recent graduates or current university students are encouraged to apply
- We’re ultimately looking for someone eager to learn, grow and bring creative energy to the team
