Our sister company, Pacificas Freight, is growing the local team supporting Westwell’s autonomous vehicle rollout at Brisbane Port, and we are recruiting for two full time, fixed-term roles.

Software / Delivery & Operations Engineers – Autonomous Vehicles

We’re looking for graduate to early-career engineers with strong foundations in Python and Linux, practical problem-solving skills, and an interest in autonomous systems, AI, robotics and vehicle technology. You’ll work across software, testing, sensors, fleet systems and live vehicle operations, with Westwell product and project training provided.

Vehicle Maintenance Engineers – Autonomous Vehicles

We’re looking for an experienced maintenance professional with strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills. Experience with diesel mechanics, heavy vehicles or port environments will be highly regarded.



You’ll work directly with Westwell autonomous vehicles, with product-specific training provided.

For both roles, professional working fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is essential, as the team will work closely with Westwell’s engineering and product specialists.

These are full-time, fixed-term positions based at Brisbane Port, with the potential for extension or further opportunities as the program develops.
