Looking for Solution Architect: SAP - Brisbane Onsite - 8 Months Contract Your New Company: QLD State Government is responsible for delivering critical public services across Queensland and is committed to innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement. You will be joining a high-performing technology setting focused on delivering enterprise solutions that support large-scale business operations and strategic transformation programs.

Your New Role: As a Solution Architect, you will provide expert architectural leadership and advice across system design, development, and integration initiatives. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions align with strategic objectives and business requirements. Key responsibilities include:

Leading the design and management of enterprise solution architectures.

Analysing business requirements and translating them into scalable technical solutions.

Providing expert guidance on SAP ERP and integration strategies.

Designing solution architectures and producing associated technical documentation.

Identifying and managing project risks, issues, and solution dependencies.

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful business outcomes.

Supporting solution reviews, design governance, and quality assurance activities.

Driving continuous improvement and innovation across enterprise platforms.

Mentoring architects and technical teams while supporting knowledge transfer initiatives.

What you will need to succeed:



Extensive experience as a Solution Architect within large and complex enterprise environments.

Strong SAP architecture experience across Finance and Supply Chain modules.

Experience delivering large-scale ERP transformation programs.

Demonstrated expertise in solution integration design and enterprise architecture.

Strong understanding of business processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Warehouse Management.

Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused outcomes.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, consultation, and negotiation skills.

Experience producing and presenting architectural artefacts and technical documentation.

Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.

Knowledge of modern integration patterns, service-oriented architecture, and current technology trends.
