About the role

As a Speech Pathologist at Allied Health Co, you'll provide evidence-based assessment and intervention while working collaboratively with clients, families and other professionals. Depending on your experience and clinical interests, your caseload may include speech and language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language difficulties, autism and neurodevelopmental presentations, social communication and pragmatic language, literacy and language development, and NDIS participants with communication and functional goals.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive speech pathology assessments
- Develop individualised, goal-focused intervention plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to children and/or adults depending on your preferred caseload
- Prepare progress reports, assessments and NDIS documentation
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools, support coordinators and other treating professionals
- Participate in multidisciplinary care where appropriate
- Maintain high-quality and timely clinical documentation
- Deliver care in accordance with relevant professional and ethical standards

About you

- A recognised tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
- Speech Pathology Australia membership or eligibility for membership
- Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills




- A commitment to evidence-based, person-centred care
- Experience with paediatric or NDIS clients is highly regarded but not essential
- Early-career Speech Pathologists are also encouraged to apply
