About the role
Reporting to the National Warehouse Lead, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, inventory accuracy, safety performance, compliance, and team capability across VIC warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to an experienced warehouse professional who thrives in a fast-paced workplace and enjoys building high-performing teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop Warehouse Supervisors and warehouse teams
- Foster a positive culture focused on safety, accountability and continuous improvement
- Identify and develop talent while supporting succession planning across the warehouse network
- Promote consistent warehouse processes, systems and standards across all sites
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of warehouses throughout VIC
- Ensure accurate receiving, storage and dispatch of materials
- Maintain inventory integrity and stock accuracy exceeding 98% by SKU
- Ensure stock takes,
cycle counts and spot checks are completed in line with company procedures
- Drive a strong safety-first culture across all warehouse operations
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company policies and warehouse procedures
About you
- Extensive warehouse management experience across multiple sites or complex warehouse environments
- Proven leadership experience managing warehouse teams and supervisors
- Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control and warehouse best practice
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook Skills
- Strong knowledge of Australian workplace health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
- A practical and proactive approach to solving operational challenges
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Current Driver Licence (essential)
