Stick Welder - Short Term Project, starts next week
What you'll be doing:
- Measure, mark and prep materials ready for welding
- Set up your gear , welding machines, gas torches, power tools
- Cut and prepare metal surfaces (grinding and other prep as needed)
- Assemble frames and structures to spec
- Weld using the right technique for the job
- Check your own work, every weld meets standard, finished product inspected for defects
- Keep your equipment and tools maintained and in valuable nick
- Stick to OH&S; regulations on every job
What you'll need:
- Certificate/diploma in welding, or equivalent on-the-job experience
- Welding experience
- Skilled at using and maintaining welding equipment
- Solid knowledge of welding techniques and materials across different jobs
Pay: $48.00 – $52.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
