About the Role – CHPP Supervisor
Reporting to the CHPP Superintendent, the CHPP Supervisor is accountable for the safe coordination of all coal-processing activities within the CHPP for their shift in accordance with safety and compliance targets, budget tonnes and quality objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Provide day-to-day operational direction to achieve required targets.
- Ensure that operators receive proper instruction and training in secure processing practices.
- Lead a team environment and coordinate coal preparation activities in a cost-effective and efficient manner
- Cost reduction activities / initiatives.
- Assist in managing contracts within the CHPP area.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong commitment to safety and a continuous improvement culture.
- Tertiary Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate (as relevant).
- Minimum of five (5) years in the mining or heavy industry or processing plant with strong working knowledge of Maintenance, Planning and CMMS.
- Current Unencumbered New South Wales “C” Class Drivers Licence.
