Multiple Opportunities Available | Metro & Regional Locations Contract until 31 December 2027 | $61.86 per hour + Super
We are currently recruiting for equivalent APS6 Support Needs Assessor positions with a Disability focused Federal Government across WA metropolitan and regional locations.
These are full-time contract opportunities through to 31 December 2027, offering a competitive hourly rate of $61.86 plus superannuation.
About the Role
As a Support Needs Assessor, you will play a key role in conducting person-centred assessments to identify and evaluate the support requirements of NDIS participants. Working within a collaborative team environment, you will contribute to delivering quality outcomes for people living with disability.
We Are Seeking Qualified Professionals From The Following Disciplines:
- Occupational Therapy
- Physiotherapy
- Speech Pathology
- Social Work
- Dietetics
- Exercise Physiology
- Rehabilitation Counselling
- Counselling / Psychotherapy
- Registered Nursing
- Enrolled Nursing
- NDIS Behaviour Support Practice
- Other relevant health, allied health, or human services disciplines
About You To be considered for these opportunities, you will:
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification (must be included with your application/CV)
- Be available to work full-time
- Be eligible to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Be an Australian Citizen (NDIA eligibility requirement)
- Have solid assessment, analytical,
and report-writing skills
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities
Highly Regarded Experience The following experience will be advantageous:
- Conducting functional, support needs, or person-centred assessments
- Working within disability, health, rehabilitation, aged care, community services, or allied health settings
- Experience using the I-CAN Support Needs Assessment Tool (desirable but not essential)
