Lander Support is looking for compassionate and organised people to assist in supporting people with disabilities and their families. We have a growing client base requesting Support Workers meaning there is the prospect for a diverse and full working week.
Non-negotiables:
- Hold a licence
- Have a car
- Able to obtain a blue and yellow card
- Able to undergo a police check
- Fluency in English
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Helping with household tasks
- Providing personal care support
- Helping clients learn new skills
- Doing grocery shopping and preparing meals
- Working with doctors and therapists to ensure support
- Adjusting and adapting communication and body language to suit client needs
- Supporting clients to develop new hobbies and interests
- Transporting and accompanying clients to appointments
