Tara Independent Living is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Support Worker to join our Supported Independent Living home located in Chatswood and surrounding areas. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred support to participants in a respectful, protected, and supportive home environment, assisting them to build independence, achieve their individual goals, and maintain their daily routines.

As a Support Worker, you will assist participants with daily living tasks including, but not limited to, personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance, community access, transport to appointments, household duties, and supporting social and recreational activities. You will be expected to promote participant choice, dignity, independence, and inclusion while maintaining professional boundaries, maintaining household cleanliness and hygiene standards, and delivering support in line with individual care plans and NDIS practice standards.

We are looking for someone who is patient, proactive, organised,



and able to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being confident working independently. Previous experience in Supported Independent Living, disability support, mental health, or complex care is highly regarded.

- NDIS NDIS Worker Orientation Module

- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Valid Driver's Licence (Preferred but not essential)
- Comprehensive Car Insurance (if using own vehicle)
