Project Urban is growing, and we’re looking for a Surveyor to join our Sunshine Coast team.

Project Urban is a multidisciplinary development consultancy providing Surveying, Town Planning, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Project Management and Liquor Licensing services across the Sunshine Coast and broader South-East Queensland.

This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to work across a diverse range of development projects alongside our experienced planning, design and project teams.

The Role

As part of our Surveying team, you’ll be involved in a variety of field and office-based work, including:

· Cadastral Surveys (with suitable registration, under supervision).

· Topographic Surveys (from residential to large-scale development sites).

· Construction Set Outs.

· Preparation of accurate survey plans, reports and documentation.

· Interpretation of design drawings and survey documentation.

· Collaboration with planners, project managers and other disciplines.

· Liaising with clients, other consultants and subcontractors.

· Maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality and safety.

The role is based on a standard 38-Hour Week plus overtime, with a company vehicle and phone to be provided.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

· Registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as an associate, graduate or full Surveyor registration status, or the capability to be registered.





· Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Surveying.

· Solid technical surveying skills and experience with Trimble survey equipment preferred, including Total Stations and GNSS.

· Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D drafting software advantageous.

· An understanding of land development, construction and Queensland Surveying standards.

· Solid attention to detail and technical accuracy.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Current driver’s licence.

· Full Australian Working Rights required.
