In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll work as a part of our Victorian team in Doveton to help us create lasting change for children everywhere.

You will make a difference by:

- Providing support to women and children experiencing or at risk of domestic and family violence
- Providing mentoring/coaching assistance to the team as required
- Identifying where additional assistance and external services are required, providing appropriate information, support and referrals
- Promoting positive and culturally respectful approaches to parenting, and child and family wellbeing
- Developing strong networks and referral pathways to support desired outcomes
- Collecting and recording information for the purpose of accountability, evaluation and reporting

This role requires:

- Experience working with women, and children under 5 years, who have experienced domestic and family violence
- Knowledge of best practice, professional standards, and relevant research in the field of domestic and family violence
- Experience in coaching, mentoring and the transfer of skills and knowledge to others
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, understanding and experience working with culturally diverse families and communities as well as understanding cultural practice approaches
- Completed MARAM training
- A Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology or relevant Human Service Qualification and/or significant experience working in a similar service
