About the role

This role contributes to the success of the City by ensuring the effective administration, support, maintenance and optimisation of Council's business systems and enterprise applications. Working closely with business units, vendors and technology teams, you will help deliver reliable, secure and user-focused systems that support Council services and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

Role accountabilities include:

• Supporting and administering Council's business systems and enterprise applications to ensure reliable and effective service delivery.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements and identify opportunities for system and process improvements.

• Supporting system enhancements, upgrades, testing, releases and user adoption activities to maximise business value and organisational outcomes.

About you

You are a proactive and customer-focused systems professional who enjoys solving problems and improving the way technology supports business outcomes. You bring experience administering and supporting enterprise applications within a complex environment and have strong analytical skills that enable you to investigate issues, identify root causes and implement practical solutions.

You work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and can translate business requirements into technology-enabled improvements. You are organised, adaptable and comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Ideally, you will also bring experience with enterprise business systems, SaaS platforms, reporting and analytics tools, system integrations or digital transformation initiatives. Knowledge of local government operations will be highly regarded.
