Are you an organised administrator looking to build your career in Human Resources?
Personnel Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Administration Assistant to join our Corporate Services team in Albury. This is a casual position based in our Corporate Office, with the team member provided with a fortnightly roster based on business requirements. On average, you can expect to work 20 to 25 hours per week, however hours may fluctuate to support periods of leave coverage, recruitment activity and changing business demands. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll, employee records management and workforce development within a large and diverse organisation.
About the role
Working within our Human Resources team, you will provide efficient and skilled administrative support across a broad range of functions, including recruitment, onboarding, Payroll, compliance, employee records management, and learning and development activities. This role plays an important part in creating a positive team member experience by ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately,
efficiently and in line with organisational requirements while supporting the ongoing growth and development of our workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely administration of employee and volunteer records, contracts, employment documentation, onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Support recruitment activities through vacancy advertising, application management, interview coordination and candidate communication
- Coordinate training administration, maintain training records and support employee learning and development initiatives.
- Back up for payroll processing
- Maintain workforce compliance records and assist employees and managers to meet mandatory organisational and legislative requirements.
- Provide administrative assistance across Corporate Services functions and contribute to key projects and operational initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in Administration, Customer Service or Human Resources.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with working with ELMO or other HRS platforms.
Desirable
- Certificate III or IV in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Current unrestricted drivers licence
