Medical Edge Australia is one of Australia's fastest-growing providers of out-of-hospital healthcare services, delivering first aid, event medical and non-emergency patient transport services across multiple states and territories.

We are committed to professional, patient-centred care and are seeking an organised and proactive Operations Support Officer to join our growing team based in Keysborough.

This is an 18 month full-time maximum term contract with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing organisation, where your contributions will have a significant impact.

About the Position

The Operations Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the coordination and delivery of first aid and non-emergency patient transport services across Australia. Working closely with Operations Managers, field staff, clients and stakeholders, you will help ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and professionally.

This is a fast-paced and varied role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will support rostering, resource allocation, logistics, client coordination and day-to-day operational requirements while working as part of a collaborative operations team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide operational, administrative and rostering support across Medical Edge Australia's service streams.

- Support Operations Managers and fellow Operations Support Officers with day-to-day operational activities.

- Manage inbound client and staff enquiries relating to first aid and patient transport services.





- Coordinate staff, vehicles and resources to support service delivery requirements.

- Assist with operational planning and logistics across the business.

- Prepare quotes, medical plans, equipment lists and post-event reports.

- Support non-emergency patient transport bookings and resource allocation.

- Maintain accurate records, reporting and operational documentation

- Attend stakeholder meetings and assist with client requirements where required.

- Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.

- Following induction and training, participate in Duty Manager support arrangements outside normal business hours.

About You

You thrive in a busy operational setting where priorities can change quickly. You are organised, adaptable and solutions-focused, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees, clients and stakeholders.

You will bring:

- Experience in operations, administration, logistics, scheduling or workforce rostering.

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Confidence managing multiple competing priorities.

- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office.





- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications & Experience

The following would be highly regarded:

- Certificate III in Business, Business Administration or a related qualification.

- Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport or higher.

- Experience in healthcare, first aid, event medical services, emergency services or patient transport.

- An understanding of rostering and operational service delivery.

Additional Information

- Full-time position based in Keysborough, Victoria.

- Rotating shifts apply, with operating hours generally between 6:30am and 8:00pm Monday to Friday and 7:00am to 3:00pm on weekends.

- Participation in after-hours Duty Manager support required following induction and training.

- Pre-employment Police Check required.
