As a Window Furnishings Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations across a range of window furnishing products and projects. You will work with an established window furnishings company with over 20 years of industry experience, based in Seven Hills, NSW.
Key responsibilities
- Reviewing plans, specifications and customer requirements
- Preparing accurate take-offs, estimates and quotations
- Estimating products including blinds, curtains, shutters and other window furnishing solutions
- Liaising with customers, builders, suppliers and internal team
- Obtaining supplier pricing and product information
- Following up quotations and assisting with project handovers
- Identifying potential issues before projects proceed to production or installation
- Maintaining accurate job, pricing and estimating information
- Working closely with sales, administration and installation teams to ensure projects run smoothly
About you
- Previous estimating experience in window furnishings, construction,
interiors or a related industry
- Experience reading plans, drawings and specifications
- Solid numerical and computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to manage multiple quotations and priorities
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
- A willingness to work as part of a team and help others when required
Window furnishings experience would be highly regarded however, candidates with strong estimating experience from a related construction or interiors background are also encouraged to apply.
