40 years ago, our founder Helen Marie Kaminski handcrafted a raffia hat to protect her children from the searing Australian sun. Soon after, her distinctive design was coveted by small country boutiques, followed by the style set.

Helen’s interest in working with the finest, natural and sustainably sourced materials led her to Madagascar, where the finest raffia in the world grows. The cornerstone of our brand is sustainably harvested 'A' grade raffia in summer and renewable Pure Merino Wool in winter.

Helen Kaminski is now distributed in 25 countries and across 5 continents globally as well as featured in luxury department stores and select boutiques in Australia, the UK, France, the USA, China, Japan and South Korea.

Role purpose
As a Retail Associate, you embody our desire to engage, listen and guide customers to products that are relevant to them. In providing product knowledge that address customer needs you will deliver an exceptional, inclusive customer experience that contributes to our overall commercial success.





What we are looking for

• Experience operating within a customer service role or environment
• Effective selling skills and the ability to drive commercial outcomes
• History of successfully participating in and contributing to a team
• Demonstrated ability to utilise empathy to manage interpersonal relationships and contribute to a positive and inclusive experience for all
• Open mindset and deep curiosity seeking to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Chinese language skills would be advantageous, but not required
