Your Opportunity

Want to become a qualified bus driver but don’t have your HR Licence yet?

Our Driving Academy at our Bendigo Depot is designed to help you get started. We’ll provide up to 20 hours of hands-on driving training to help you obtain your HR Licence – with the cost covered by us.

Once qualified, you’ll join our team as a casual bus driver, with regular hours and opportunities for additional work.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a bus driver, you’ll play an important role in safely transporting passengers throughout the local community.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Safely transporting passengers in accordance with road laws and company procedures
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Safely picking up and dropping off school students
- Completing required vehicle and safety checks
- Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle
- Working as part of a supportive and professional team

What You’ll Need

You don’t need previous bus driving experience – we’ll provide the training you need.

We’re looking for people who have:

- A current Australian Driver Licence
- A positive and responsible attitude




- A strong commitment to safety
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A willingness to complete training and obtain the required qualifications
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team

You’ll also need to obtain a Working with Children Check and Driver Accreditation as part of the role.
