About the Role
As a Member Service Officer, you will be the face of our Branch network, delivering exceptional service and personalised banking solutions to our Members. Your role will be pivotal in building strong Member relationships and upholding our organisational values.
This position will be based at our Dungog Branch, giving you the opportunity to be part of a local community and build meaningful connections with Members every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering friendly, efficient, and accurate service to our Members.
- Processing a range of banking transactions and assisting with inquires.
- Providing information on products and services available.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
- Contribute to a collaborative and high performing team environment.
About You:
We are seeking a customer-focused individual who thrives in a agile workplace and brings:
- Proven experience in customer service (banking experience highly regarded, retail and hospitality backgrounds also welcome)
- Confidence in handling cash transactions and end-of-day balancing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Competence in using computer systems and digital tools.
- A valid driver’s licence for occasional travel between Branches.
- Tier II certification (preferred).
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:15pm.
You will also be required to work a minimum of two Saturday mornings per month (8:45am – 12:15pm).
