Georgiana Molloy Anglican School (GMAS) is seeking an experienced and highly collaborative educator to join our middle leadership team as Learner Access and Early Intervention Leader – Primary (Kindergarten to Year 6).

This is an opportunity to take a significant leadership role in shaping the way learner access, learning support and early intervention are coordinated across our Primary School.

Working collaboratively with the Head of Learner Access and Early Intervention, you will lead the implementation of evidence-informed and data-informed intervention practices, strengthen inclusive classroom practice and support Teachers and Education Assistants to respond effectively to the diverse learning needs of students.

Importantly, this is a hands-on educational leadership position. You will remain connected to classroom practice through a 0.40FTE teaching load while dedicating 0.60FTE to leadership, coordination and the development of consistent, effective approaches to learner access and early intervention across Kindergarten to Year 6.

The prospect

As Learner Access and Early Intervention Leader – Primary, you will have the opportunity to influence both student outcomes and professional practice across the Primary School.

You will coordinate and monitor learner access and intervention programs across K–6; lead the planning and evaluation of targeted Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions; use student achievement and wellbeing data to identify needs and intervention priorities; and provide guidance to teachers in differentiation, reasonable adjustments, documented plans and assessment modifications.





You will also oversee key Primary processes relating to NCCD, Inclusive Education funding and NAPLAN adjustments, contribute to the coordination and deployment of Education Assistants and Learning Support staff, and provide professional and operational direction to the Learner Access and Early Intervention Coordinator – Early Learning.

Working with families, School leaders, psychologists, counsellors, allied health professionals and external agencies will also be an important part of providing coordinated support for students.

About you

You will be an experienced registered teacher with a strong Primary education background and demonstrated expertise in supporting students with disability, learning difficulties and diverse or additional educational needs.

You will bring:

- demonstrated leadership capability and the ability to guide, support and build the capacity of others;

- strong knowledge of inclusive education, differentiation, reasonable adjustments and documented planning;

- experience planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions;

- the ability to analyse and interpret student data and translate it into meaningful intervention priorities and improved teaching practice;

- sound knowledge of NCCD, compliance and evidence requirements;

- strong organisational, case-management and communication skills; and





- a collaborative leadership style that builds positive relationships with students, colleagues, families and professionals.

You will be someone who can balance strategic thinking with the realities of day-to-day school operations — confident making decisions within your area of responsibility, comfortable having constructive professional conversations and committed to working collaboratively as part of a broader leadership structure.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold, or be eligible to hold, full registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) and a current Working with Children Check.
