Gumbuya World is Victoria's only theme park with rides, water attractions, wildlife and adventure experiences all in one destination. We're seeking an experienced and qualified Property & Maintenance Tradesperson to join our Property Services team and help keep our park, facilities and infrastructure operating safely, efficiently and looking their best.

About the Role

Working across our diverse and dynamic site, you'll be responsible for maintaining buildings, grounds, infrastructure and operational assets to ensure a secure and enjoyable environment for our guests and team members.

No two days are the same. One day you may be repairing facilities, troubleshooting equipment, completing grounds works or managing contractor activities, and the next you'll be contributing to improvement projects that enhance the park experience.

What You'll Be Doing

- Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across park facilities and infrastructure

- Performing construction, repair and refurbishment works

- Maintaining buildings, pathways, fences, landscaping and grounds assets

- Diagnosing faults and resolving maintenance issues efficiently

- Operating plant, equipment and trade-related tools safely

- Assisting with project works, seasonal preparations and park improvements





- Conducting safety inspections and reporting maintenance risks

- Working collaboratively with leaders, contractors and operational teams

- Supporting compliance, safety and asset management requirements

About You

You will be a qualified tradesperson with at least 5 years post-trade experience in one or more of the following:

- Engineering

- Building & Construction

- Carpentry

- Landscaping

- Grounds & Property Maintenance

- Mechanical Trades

- Civil Works

- Related Trade Disciplines

Essential

- Relevant Trade Qualification

- Minimum 5 years industry experience

- Strong practical problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Commitment to workplace health and safety

- Current Driver's License

- White Card (or ability to obtain)

Desirable

- Forklift License

- EWP Ticket

- Machinery Operating Experience

- Irrigation & Grounds Maintenance Knowledge

- Welding or Fabrication Experience

- Contractor Management Experience
