As our highly valued Early Childhood Teacher at C&K; Mackay Children and Family Centre, you’ll lead a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for children, their families and our wider community. As an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander service, our centre celebrates culture, connection and community. We provide high-quality early learning, care and family support services in a protected, inclusive and culturally responsive environment where every child and family is valued.

In this role, you'll lead an engaging and inspiring kindergarten program, foster strong relationships with children and families, and work alongside a supportive team committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of children.

- Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm

What you’ll bring

If you’re committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success!

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

- An ACECQA approved Bachelor's Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate
- Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
- Current Police Check
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
- Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, or demonstrate cultural competence and experience working respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities
