An established Tier 2 Builder / Developer is seeking an experienced General Foreman to join the team on a $45m medium- to high-end multi-residential apartment project in Brisbane.

The company specialises in the luxury building sector and has an established track record of successfully delivering high-quality residential projects.

You'll be joining a personable and experienced leadership team, from the Directors through to Construction Managers and site teams.

With a healthy project pipeline, there are strong opportunities for ongoing work once this project is completed.

About the Role

We are looking to identify an experienced General Foreman to take a senior site leadership role on a $45m, 9-level multi-residential apartment project with 3 basement levels in Brisbane.

Working closely with the Project Manager and Construction Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You'll lead the site team and subcontractors, drive the programme, coordinate trades and ensure quality, safety and productivity targets are achieved throughout construction.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a General Foreman, Foreman or Senior Site Supervisor on multi-unit residential projects
- Experience delivering projects in the $30m+ range,



ideally with high-rise or multi-level residential experience
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, programming and site logistics
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple subcontractors and trades
- Strong focus on quality, safety and productivity
- Confident leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate site teams
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, consultants and subcontractors
- Robust technical understanding of structures, finishes, services and construction methodology
- Experience with a reputable mid-tier or Tier 2 builder highly regarded
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Building or a related discipline
