This is a pivotal role in the Construction & Reactive Projects team reporting to the Team Leader. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of planned works to ensure that works are managed to a safe, high quality, timely and cost-effective outcome for Water Corporation and customers.

What the role will involve:
- Promote a Zero Harm culture in line with the business safety beliefs and encourage all contractor employees to engage in HSEQ matters.
- Mentor, coach and educate contractors in hazard identification, risk management and control processes.
- Coordinate and supervise work undertaken by Project Delivery engaged contractors.
- Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure the products and services meet their needs.
- Assist in preparation of project scoping and coordinate supply of materials.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of contractors, providing technical advice and guidance.
- Assist with commissioning, close-out and handover activities.
- Manage the inspection and quality assurance of the sub-contractor, including inspection plans, constructed drawings and minor defects.
- Assist with implementation of isolation plans
- Provide technical asset and network solutions to support project delivery
About you:
- Detailed substantial experience and knowledge of a broad range of water and waste water industry infrastructure.
- Considerable experience in and knowledge of operations of water industry infrastructure networks and assets.
- Current Driver’s License.
- Awareness of statutory requirements, regulations,
codes of practices and standards associated with planning, approval and development of water infrastructure schemes.
