Urbanvirons Group is growing, and we're looking for experienced Horticulturists, Qualified Gardeners and Plant Care Specialists to join our horticulture teams across Kilburn and Lonsdale.

We work across a range of premium commercial properties, parks, gardens and open spaces throughout metropolitan Adelaide, providing our team with a varied and rewarding work workplace.
Location & Hours
Locations: Kilburn SA 5084 or Lonsdale SA 5160
Employment: Full-Time or Casual opportunities available
Hours: 84 hours per fortnight
Working hours: 6:40 am – 4:30 pm
Roster: 9-day working fortnight, with a regular RDO every second week
About the Role
As a Horticulturist, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality gardens, landscapes and open spaces across our client sites.
Your day-to-day work may include:
- Horticultural maintenance and garden presentation
- Plant care and maintenance
- Pruning, hedging and garden maintenance
- Weeding and general garden care
- Turf and landscape maintenance
- Identifying and managing plant health issues
- Operating horticultural equipment and machinery
- Maintaining high standards of site presentation
- Working as part of a professional and supportive team
- Communicating professionally with supervisors, team members and clients when required
You'll be working across a variety of sites, so no two days are necessarily the same.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are reliable,
take pride in their work and have a genuine interest in horticulture.
Ideally, you'll have:
- 2–3 years' experience in horticulture, gardening or a related industry
- A current Driver's Licence
- Certificate III in Horticulture – highly regarded
- White Card – highly regarded
- Traffic Management Licence – highly regarded
- Good knowledge of horticultural practices and plant care
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team
- A strong focus on quality, safety and presentation
- Good communication and a professional approach when working on client sites
We're also interested in hearing from experienced gardeners and horticultural workers who may not have every qualification listed but have the right experience, attitude and willingness to learn.
