Support the accuracy and integrity of customer and property data within a Local Government Rating Services team. Focus on record cleansing, data validation, process improvement and maintaining the Names and Address Register.
Client Details
Our client is a well-established Local Government organisation providing a broad range of services to its local community. They offer a collaborative and supportive working environment, with a strong focus on delivering quality services and continuous improvement.
Description
- Investigate, cleanse and merge duplicate name and address records within the Property and Rating system.
- Maintain accurate customer information including names, addresses and contact details.
- Validate new records and monitor data quality across the organisation.
- Review duplicate records created through eServices and other channels.
- Develop and maintain names and records procedures, manuals and training materials.
- Provide training and guidance to staff responsible for creating and updating records.
- Produce data quality reports and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Review processes following TechnologyOne upgrades and system changes.
Profile
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous Local Government experience across Rates, Property, Rating Services or Customer Service.
- Experience maintaining customer, property or rates-related records and a robust understanding of data integrity.
- Exposure to TechnologyOne or similar Local Government systems will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail with experience identifying and resolving data discrepancies.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to provide guidance and training to other staff.
- A methodical approach with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Job Offer
- Salary equivalent of $82,569 - $89,610 + super, pro rata (Approx. $45 / hour)
- Contract through to at least 30 June 2027
- Potential transition into a permanent position
- Flexibility to work 3-5 days per week
- Long-term stability within a Local Government environment
- Opportunity to take ownership of an key data quality and continuous improvement function
