Gumbuya World is Victoria's only destination combining thrills, wildlife, water attractions and adventure in one incredible location. We're looking for a highly organised and technically minded Technical Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to coordinate maintenance planning, compliance activities and asset management across our rides, facilities and infrastructure.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in maintenance planning, engineering support, asset management or technical scheduling who enjoys creating structure, improving systems and ensuring critical maintenance work happens safely and efficiently.
About the Role
Reporting to the Technical Services leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and managing preventative maintenance schedules, coordinating work orders, monitoring compliance requirements and supporting the long-term reliability of park assets.
Working closely with tradespeople, ride technicians, contractors and operational leaders, you'll ensure maintenance activities are planned, resourced and completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules across rides, attractions, facilities and infrastructure.
- Coordinate daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance activities.
- Schedule internal teams and external contractors to maximise efficiency.
- Manage maintenance work orders, priorities and resource allocation.
- Maintain asset registers, technical records and compliance documentation.
- Monitor critical inspections, certifications and statutory requirements.
- Support shutdown planning, refurbishment projects and capital works.
- Analyse maintenance performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Produce reports, KPI dashboards and maintenance performance metrics.
- Assist with spare parts planning, inventory control and procurement activities.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of maintenance management systems.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- 3+ years experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, asset management or technical administration.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Experience working within maintenance, facilities, engineering, construction or industrial environments.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Highly Desirable
- Experience using, MEX, CMMS, EAM or maintenance management systems.
- Technical, engineering or trade background.
- Experience coordinating contractors and service providers.
- Power BI, reporting or data analysis experience.
- Experience within attractions, theme parks, facilities management, manufacturing or utilities.
