About the role:

Reliefs Officer - St John’s Campus Highgate
Fixed term, part-time position, 13 hours per term week to be worked flexibly (6.5 hours over 2 days)
Commencing as soon as practicable – December 2026

The College is seeking an experienced Reliefs Officer to provide administrative workflow support to the St John’s Campus Leadership Team members. The Reliefs Officer works as part of a team and contributes to the smooth functioning of the Campus.

This position will coordinate the teacher reliefs on a daily basis, including the coordination of temporary relief teachers, all documentation and communication involved with this for the St John’s Campus. This position requires the ability to manage needs calmly and effectively, balancing several tasks during busy periods. The Reliefs Assistant will require a high level of digital technology competencies and accuracy for the needs of the role.

This is an important position which is dynamic and varied, requiring a high level of communication skills with teaching staff, Leadership, non-teaching staff and other community members. As a member of a team, the successful applicant will show evidence of being collaborative and strongly supporting the ethos and values foundational to Concordia College.

The Reliefs Officer role:

- Coordinate daily teacher reliefs, including temporary relief teachers, documentation and communication.





- Manage multiple competing tasks calmly, efficiently and accurately during busy periods.

- Demonstrate strong digital technology, communication and organisational skills.

- Provide administrative workflow support to the St John’s Campus Leadership Team.

- Work collaboratively with staff and the wider community while supporting Concordia College’s ethos and values.

Skills & Experience

- Completed secondary school

- Valid Working With Children Check, RRHAN-EC and First Aid certification

- Experience working in a similar team environment

- Familiarity with relevant school policies, guidelines and procedures

- Appropriate knowledge of digital technologies applicable to the role
