About the role

As a Specialised Cleaning & Property Support Team Member, you will work as part of a team to provide high-quality cleaning and property support services. This role involves working with people experiencing challenging circumstances, including hoarding, environmental neglect, disability, trauma and complex living situations. You will approach every job with respect, empathy, confidentiality and a non-judgemental attitude.

Key responsibilities

- General and specialised residential cleaning

- Deep and intensive cleaning

- Decluttering and removal of unwanted items

- Sorting, culling and reorganising household items

- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas

- Removing rubbish and household waste

- Assisting to create safe and clear pathways through properties

- Basic gardening and outdoor property maintenance

- Working around challenging odours, animal waste and heavily soiled areas

- Using appropriate PPE and following workplace health and safety procedures

About you

- Reliable, punctual and hardworking

- Physically capable of undertaking cleaning, lifting, decluttering and gardening tasks

- Comfortable working in challenging environments





- Compassionate, respectful and non-judgemental

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Comfortable communicating with clients and support professionals

- Willing to follow procedures and safety requirements

- Flexible with working hours, including some early morning starts

- Current Australian driver's licence

- Current Police Check
