Lead, inspire and help shape the future of Early Years education at GMAS.

Georgiana Molloy Anglican School is seeking an experienced and passionate Early Years Leader | Teacher to provide educational and pedagogical leadership across Pre-Kindergarten to Year 2 from the commencement of the 2027 academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Early Childhood educator who is ready to take the next step in leadership while remaining actively connected to classroom practice.

Working collaboratively with the Head of Primary School and the Early Childhood team, the Early Years Leader will champion high-quality, evidence-informed and developmentally appropriate teaching and learning. The position plays an important role in providing curriculum direction, developing staff capability and promoting a consistent and contemporary approach to Early Childhood education across GMAS.

The Opportunity

As Early Years Leader, you will provide leadership across curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and quality assurance while mentoring and supporting Early Childhood teachers and Education Assistants.

You will promote a culture of professional inquiry, reflection, collaboration and continuous improvement and support learning environments where children are encouraged to be curious, creative, independent and active participants in their learning.

The role also has an important focus on continuity of learning and transition, strengthening connections from Pre-Kindergarten through Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Years 1–2, and into the broader Primary School.

About You

We are looking for an Early Childhood educator who combines excellent classroom practice with the ability to lead and bring others with them.

You will demonstrate:

- substantial experience and expertise in Early Childhood Education;

- strong knowledge of contemporary Early Childhood pedagogy, child development and evidence-informed practice;





- knowledge and application of the EYLF, NQF, NQS and Western Australian Curriculum;

- the capacity to mentor, develop and provide professional guidance to teachers and Education Assistants;

- the ability to use assessment and developmental information to support student learning, differentiation and intervention;

- a strong commitment to inclusive education, student wellbeing and successful transitions;

- highly developed communication and relationship-building skills; and

- a commitment to child safety, professional practice and the Values, Vision for Learning and Anglican ethos of GMAS.

The successful applicant must hold, or be eligible to hold, full registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia and meet the School's Working with Children and employment screening requirements.
