About the role

Join UGL's Recent Energy business as an Environmental Advisor supporting a major infrastructure project in regional Western Australia. In this site-based DIDO role, you'll work alongside project teams to provide environmental advice, support compliance requirements and help drive strong environmental outcomes throughout construction. It's an opportunity to make a genuine impact while contributing to the successful delivery of a significant project.

Key responsibilities

- Support environmental management plans, procedures and compliance requirements across the project.
- Provide practical environmental advice to project teams, subcontractors and client stakeholders.
- Coordinate environmental inspections, monitoring, audits and reporting activities.
- Assist with environmental approvals, risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions.




- Drive environmental awareness, sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement across the project.

About you

- Experience in an onsite Environmental Advisor or Environmental Officer role within energy, infrastructure, or data centre projects.
- Sound understanding of environmental legislation, approvals and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting environmental inspections, monitoring, audits and reporting activities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across project teams and contractors.
- A proactive, practical approach with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project setting.
