About the role

We are seeking a Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist to join our team located in Williams Landing. This role comprises of two days working for a not for profit organization in Laverton and three days working for our firm in Williams Landing. You will require a robust background in bookkeeping, payroll and superannuation.

Key responsibilities

- Entering invoices in the system

- Processing invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner

- Reviewing accounts receivable and payable entries to ensure all data is entered correctly

- Initiating new suppliers and adding them on the system

- Vendor and supplier reconciliations

- Bank reconciliations

- Processing payroll and payday super

- Preparation and review of BAS/IAS

- Reconciliation of leave entitlements

- Other administration and accounts duties where required

About you

- 5+ years in the bookkeeping and payroll domain

- Analytic approach, problem solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail





- Comfortable working with large data sets on Excel

- Portable service leave, payroll tax and understanding of childcare pay awards an advantage

- Xero and Quickbooks experience is REQUIRED

- Proactive and steady approach

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Excellent customer service and client focus skills

- Organised and able to meet deadlines
