Stella and Estelle are successful, contemporary Australian women's fashion brands. We are looking for a Designer with the experience and qualified confidence to contribute ideas to our range, and follow through to production.

Responsibilities will include:

- Contribute to trend forecast and market research, mood boards, colour palettes, seasonal inspiration, fabrics and trims that are relevant to our brands

- Create technical CADs, range pages and specification sheets

- Preparation of development briefs for suppliers and brief patternmaking team

- Create import enquiry packs for costings

- Assist in fabric, trim, and material sourcing as required

- Select colours and fabrics, requesting lab dips, swatches and sampling from suppliers

- Indigo 8 data style set up

- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Senior Designer

- Update BOMs, colourways, and style information, keeping files clean and current

- Develop repeat yardage print artworks for off shore manufacturing





- Support additional design projects and administrative tasks as needed

Candidate Requirements:

- 2-3 year’s experience in a design role at a commercial fashion design company

- Relevant tertiary qualification

- Strong Adobe skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign- Confident created technical CADs

- Sound knowledge of garment construction and proven ability to complete accurate garment sketches and design sheets

- Proven organisational and planning ability, experience working within a team to a critical path

- Excellent communication skills both internally and with off shore suppliers

- Proactive attitude, creative confidence and attention to detail

- Must be up to date with trends and love fashion!
