Full-time | Inner North-West Brisbane | Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
A valued position within a supportive team, with remuneration that reflects what you bring
If you’re valuable at administration, people tend to give you more of it: more tasks, more pressure and more last-minute requests, but rarely more support, recognition or pay.
You become the person who remembers everything, fixes everything and keeps the office moving. When everything runs smoothly, few people notice. When one detail is missed, everyone does.
Eventually, staying where you are can feel safer than moving into another office with the same problems. You may not be unhappy enough to leave, you may have simply stopped believing that a better opportunity exists.
This is one of those opportunities that doesn’t become available often.
Our client is a respected, family-owned real estate agency servicing Brisbane’s inner north-west. This isn’t a high-turnover office where people are treated as replaceable, and they aren’t looking to hire in volume or simply fill an empty seat.
They’re looking for an experienced Sales Administrator who genuinely enjoys being behind the scenes, working at a computer and creating order in a busy sales environment.
This isn’t a reception role disguised as sales administration, and it isn’t intended as a stepping stone into becoming an agent. It’s an opportunity for someone who takes pride in administration as a profession and wants to find the right team, culture and environment to build a meaningful long-term career within.
The Role
You’ll become an important part of a close-knit sales team, coordinating the administrative journey of each property from the moment a Form 6 is received through to settlement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing contracts and managing sales documentation
- Setting up property files, marketing campaigns and online listings
- Monitoring critical dates, contract conditions and settlements
- Maintaining accurate CRM records, databases and compliance documentation
- Coordinating diaries, appointments and campaign requirements
- Communicating with vendors, buyers, solicitors and service providers when required
- Keeping the lead agent and wider team organised, informed and ahead of deadlines
- Identifying practical ways to improve systems and processes
You’ll have ownership of your work, but you won’t be left to carry the entire operation alone. There will be support around you, people to turn to and a team that understands the difference between giving someone responsibility and leaving them to drown in it.
You May Be the Right Person If…
You find genuine satisfaction in an accurate contract, a clean CRM, an organised campaign and knowing every deadline is accounted for.
You prefer focused, computer-based work over being the face of the business. You don’t need to be the loudest person in the room to make an impact, but you do want to know that your work matters.
You’ll also bring:
- Strong administration experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities calmly
- Confidence learning and using technology
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Initiative,
accountability and sound judgement
- A positive approach to working within a close team
Previous real estate experience is highly regarded but isn’t essential.
The Opportunity
You’ll join a supportive, collaborative agency where administration isn’t treated as an afterthought.
Our client has deliberately built an agency that values quality over volume and people over constant pressure.
This isn’t a revolving-door office, nor is it an environment where success is measured by how much work can be pushed across someone’s desk.
You’ll join a close-knit team and family whose people know one another, support one another and care about doing their work properly.
Your contribution will be recognised, your ideas will be heard and you’ll have the support to perform at your best without being left to carry everything alone.
Whilst above-award remuneration is available for the right individual, the real value of this opportunity is the chance to find somewhere you can belong, contribute and build a meaningful long-term career.
Opportunities like this are rare, not because of flashy promises, but because the right combination of people, leadership, trust and environment is difficult to replicate.
How to Apply
If this sounds like the type of opportunity you’ve been hoping existed, we’d like to hear from you.
Please submit your resume by hitting APPLY, or contact us directly for a confidential discussion.
