- Salary: $154,571.18 - $166,062.75 p.a. plus superannuation

- Tenure: 12 months Fixed Term

The Role

This Fixed Term (12 months) role will lead the delivery of a high-value cybersecurity uplift program aimed at strengthening organisational cyber resilience, improving security maturity, and achieving compliance with mandated frameworks and best practices. The Cyber Uplift Program Manager will be accountable for end-to-end program leadership, including planning, governance, delivery, and benefits realisation, while managing internal and external stakeholders and maintaining alignment with enterprise risk and business strategies.

Functional Accountabilities:

- Lead and deliver the Cybersecurity Uplift Program by applying advanced cybersecurity knowledge to uplift organisational security maturity, reduce cyber risk exposure, and embed defensible security practices aligned to frameworks such as Essential Eight, ISO 27001, and NIST

- Translate cyber strategy and enterprise risk posture into a cohesive program of work, delivering targeted outcomes across identity and access management, network security, vulnerability management, incident response, endpoint protection, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tooling

- Develop and execute integrated program delivery plans with clear dependencies across cyber initiatives, ensuring high-quality execution and measurable uplift across people, processes, and technology controls

- Establish robust governance and assurance mechanisms that track delivery performance, compliance with security standards, and control implementation progress, while escalating critical risks and issues through appropriate cyber and enterprise risk forums.

The Team

The Corporate Services Directorate provides advice, planning and support in the areas of Finance, Information Technology, Fleet, Property and Records Management. In addition, the directorate also provides oversight of the FRV commercial arm,



Fire and Equipment Services (FES). The directorate is a key enabler for the operational and corporate units of the business to deliver on organisational objectives.

What you will need to Succeed

To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Program/Project Management, or a related field.Certification in Program or Project Management (e.g. MSP, PMP, PRINCE2).Desirable: Cybersecurity certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, SABSA).

- Similar experience managing large-scale ICT or cybersecurity programs in complex environments (government or enterprise).

- Demonstrated similar experience in cyber uplift initiatives, governance, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management.

- Proven track record in managing risk-based programs that deliver regulatory, operational,



or resilience outcomes.

FRV’s standard practice is to appoint at the base of the salary range, however consideration will be given to an above base salary within the advertised range based on the successful candidate’s skills and experience
