About Nyaal Banyul
Operated by the Victorian Convention and Event Trust (VCET), this premier venue features a 1,000-seat theatre and 3,700 square meters of versatile event space, ready to host everything from community gatherings to major conferences and entertainment events. About the Role
Join the technical production team at Nyaal Banyul and help deliver world-class conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, concerts, theatrical productions and live events.
We're seeking experienced operators with strong skills in lighting and/or vision systems, including GrandMA3 lighting consoles and Barco Event Master platforms (E3, S3 and PDS-4K).
You will be responsible for the setup, operation, programming, troubleshooting and pack down of event technology while working closely with clients, presenters and technical teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
About You
You are an experienced live events qualified with strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years' experience in live events, theatre, entertainment, conferencing, venue operations, touring or broadcast environments.
- Experience with:
- GrandMA3 lighting systems
- Barco Event Master, E3, S3 and/or PDS-4K systems
- Strong knowledge of lighting, video signal flow and event production workflows.
- Experience operating and troubleshooting live productions.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
