About the role

Dalas Family Day Care is seeking an experienced and highly organised Family Day Care Coordinator to join our team at our Bundoora office. The role involves managing the onboarding of new Family Day Care educators and ensuring all required assessments, documentation and compliance checks are completed before educators commence.

Key responsibilities

- Manage new Family Day Care educator applications from initial enquiry through to registration and commencement

- Complete educator onboarding and registration paperwork

- Conduct initial educator interviews, assessments and suitability checks

- Conduct initial residence assessments and home safety inspections

- Complete risk assessments for educator residences and environments

- Review Working with Children Checks, police checks, qualifications, First Aid, CPR, insurance and other required documentation

- Check documentation for adult household members and educator assistants where applicable





- Ensure educator files are complete and compliant before educators commence

- Maintain accurate educator records and compliance documentation

- Follow up outstanding and expiring documents, certificates and training

About you

- Have previous experience working within Family Day Care

- Have experience with educator onboarding, registration and compliance

- Hold a relevant Early Childhood Education and Care qualification

- Have a good understanding of Family Day Care requirements and compliance

- Have excellent attention to detail and solid administrative skills

- Be confident completing assessments, risk assessments and compliance documentation

- Have strong written and verbal communication skills

- Be organised and able to manage multiple educator files and deadlines

- Have good computer and record-keeping skills
