Hays is partnering with a well-established not-for-profit organisation seeking an experienced Clinical Counsellor to join its clinical team on a permanent full-time basis. Your new role

As a Clinical Counsellor, you will provide therapeutic support to adults experiencing a range of mental health, wellbeing and life challenges. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will undertake assessments, develop support plans and deliver evidence-based counselling interventions that assist clients to achieve positive outcomes. You will build strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders, contribute to holistic care planning and maintain high standards of clinical practice, documentation and risk management.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Counsellor, Psychologist or Social Worker with relevant professional registration and experience working within a clinical,



community services or multidisciplinary environment.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:

- Minimum three years' counselling experience
- Experience supporting clients experiencing complex trauma, mental health and wellbeing challenges
- Strong assessment, treatment planning and intervention skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR or similar modalities
- Ability to manage risk and work within established clinical governance frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Current WA Driving Licence and willingness to travel locally when required
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
- Additional language skills will be highly regarded.
