Due to ongoing business growth, Pilatus is looking for another motivated and enthusiastic Spare Parts Assistant to join our team in Adelaide. Working from our facility at Adelaide Airport, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse while supporting the needs of our Business Aviation customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Primary Tasks:

- Warehouse and Inventory Management.

- Maintain an orderly spare parts warehouse, ensuring cleanliness of work areas.

- Assist in the spare parts ordering, storage, and distribution system.

- Label and store parts in appropriate locations.

- Monitor stock for shelf-life expiry during receipting and dispatch processes.

- Participate in annual inventory stock takes and assist with implementing cyclic counting.

Procurement and Data Entry:

- Receive and verify purchase orders and invoices for goods received.

- Enter vendor invoices into Quantum Control.

- Maintain and update exchange and core return spreadsheets.

Order Fulfilment:





- Prepare sales orders for spare parts processing (Some data entry required).

- Pick and package orders with accuracy for dispatch to customers in a timely manner.

- Contact and arrange freight collections for shipping (Using third party freight companies).

Customer Liaison:

- Maintain close communication with customers to address parts-related issues.

- Answer phone calls when required or needed.

AOG Support:

- Be available for the 24/7 AOG parts system on a rotation basis.

Skills and Experience:

- Experience working with inventory storage procedures within the aviation industry highly desirable

- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving

- Sound decision making ability

- Good time management

- Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records as they relate to the organization and its suppliers

- A positive attitude and attention to detail

- Basic knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

- A forklift license desirable (not compulsory as training will be provided)
