As a Technical Business Analyst, you will help shape how technology supports smarter decision-making across financial crime operations, working at the intersection of business, data and technology. Your role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Crime Technology, you will translate business needs into practical technology outcomes, helping teams prioritise, design and deliver solutions that strengthen financial crime operations across the enterprise. Specifically, you will:
- Partner with stakeholders to define business and technology requirements
- Translate solution designs into clear Jira stories and epics
- Facilitate workshops to identify requirements and business opportunities
- Work with architects, developers and testers to deliver effective solutions
- Drive process improvements across financial crime technology platforms
- Support backlog prioritisation in line with strategic business goals
What you'll need to succeed
You are a collaborative and commercially minded business analyst who enjoys solving complex problems and connecting business needs with technology solutions. You'll possess:
- Experience in technical business analysis within complex environments
- Strong capability in Jira, Confluence and requirements documentation
- The ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Experience working with data, reporting and structured analysis
- A proven ability to influence outcomes across business and technology
- Knowledge of cloud and data platforms will be highly regarded
